Draw, Exchange, Color!

Here’s an activity that my kids always have fun with. Someone comes up with a theme (flowers, insects, reptiles, etc.) and everyone draws a picture relating to the theme using a pencil or black marker/crayon. Once everyone is finished, we switch up the drawings, exchanging them so that everyone has someone else’s drawing. Then we each color the other person’s drawing. It’s fun to see how someone else colors your artwork, which now becomes a joint illustration!
